Piano tuning and repairs has been an interest of mine for years. It wasn’t until 2012 that I began to study the field in depth. With the wonderful help of Piano technician Doug Brierley I was able to learn the ins and outs of the business and I became a piano technician guild associate member in 2013. I became interested in piano tuning in my teens when I had the opportunity to see my grandfather tune. I love the old traditions held up by technicians today and enjoy learning the new technologies and developments brought to the field as well.
